My name is Patty and if you've stumbled on this section of the page then you're probably curious as to who I am, so I'll keep it short and sweet!

I have always enjoyed crafting since I was a kid and over the years I became drawn to anything involving yarn, which is how I became a crocheter. I didn't truly appreciate crochet until I fell through depression in 2014 and the art of making string pretty became my saving grace during tough times.

I met my husband and he needed a hobby, so he dabbled into learning how to make crochet hooks on the lathe. We started a crochet business on Etsy in 2018, but decided to make it a real thing in 2019 after seeing some success with our handmade products. We now own a full-time crochet based business with employees, which is so wild to think about!

As for my professional background, I have my Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology. I became an Aerospace Physiologist and became an instructor to aircrew and an investigator for aircraft mishaps. I served in the Air Force for 15 years and was medically discharged for auto-immune disease. I now want to take my professional skillsets and bring it to the fiber arts community by sharing free instructional content through blogs and YouTube.
